NYU SPS Real estate scholars application open

NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, in partnership with The Public Housing Community Fund, will be offering this FREE program for NYCHA residents interested in exploring the real estate industry! Topics covered include the history of real estate, design and development, real estate underwriting metrics, valuation, project feasibility, sustainability, and property/asset management. 

WHO CAN APPLY:

• Current 10, 11 & 12 grade high school students

• Adults (18+ years) interested in learning about the real estate industry

• All applicants must be residents of NYCHA housing developments

• Must be able to attend the full 6-week program from March 16-May 11

HOW TO APPLY:

• Submit FREE online application

• Upload brief essay, high school transcript or report card (HS Diploma or GED for adults)

Program benefits include:

• $250 stipend upon completion of the program 

• Certificate of completion from NYU

• Meeting and learning from industry experts

• Taking a college-style course

• MetroCards
