Program Overview: The NYCHA Youth Tech Corps is an intergenerational collaboration that will help bridge the digital divide and bring technology projects to participating NYCHA developments throughout the five boroughs. Supported by a grant from the AT&T Foundation, the Public Housing Community Fund, in partnership with Soulful Synergy, developed the inaugural youth-centered technology program to provide comprehensive technology skills training to youth ages 16 to 24. Working alongside resident association leaders on projects that boost digital communication in their communities, youth become more tech-savvy, gain work experience, explore technology careers and tools, build relationships and networks, and access resources!

The program launched as a pilot on April 27, 2023 thanks to support from the AT&T Foundation. Charter Communications provided additional funding for 2024.
